Publications Policy Brief: Childhood Blood Lead Surveillance in Indonesia – Findings and Policy Recommendations This policy brief presents Indonesia’s first population-based evidence on childhood lead exposure, finding that an estimated 8 million children have blood lead levels above WHO’s recommended threshold. Based on national surveillance of more than 1,500 children across 12 districts, the findings identify key risk factors and support stronger clinical, environmental and equity-focused actions to reduce lead exposure.
