We are seeking a Program Assistant, Cardiovascular Health to support the implementation of the Resolve to Save Lives cardiovascular health (CVH) initiative, with a focus on team and partner coordination as well as tracking of grants. The Program Assistant will work under the guidance of and report to the Senior Vice President, Cardiovascular Health.  S/he will work collaboratively with other members of the CVH team and will liaise with in-country and global implementing partners. S/he will be part of a small New York City-based team.

Vital Strategies / Resolve to Save Lives is seeking a Delhi-based, Communications Consultant to support our work on cardiovascular health in India. This is a full-time twelve-month consultancy, reporting to our India team Deputy Director and collaborating closely with Delhi-based technical staff and institutional partners, and with the RTSL communications team. The consultant would take on a variety of tasks such as coordinating specific campaigns, drafting communications materials, tracking progress on specific communications projects, supporting earned and social media efforts, and helping to see through advocacy and strategic communications plans.

The Outreach and Engagement for Road Safety Consultant will work for a global program that will support up to 30 cities (including Guayaquil, Ecuador) to effectively implement best-practice road safety activities, including running hard-hitting media campaigns to raise road user understanding of risk factors, training police in best practice enforcement, strengthening data systems and redesigning high-crash, high-fatality corridors and intersections. The consultant will help set up the Road Safety Initiative in Guayaquil and support the initial phase of the program.

We are looking for a Communications Design Lead to guide the team’s creative strategy, standards, and operation. This is an opportunity for an operations-oriented creative lead to do high-impact, hands-on design work while nurturing and consolidating a Communications Design practice. The Campaign Manager will drive integrated communication strategies aligned with campaign themes, with an emphasis on media relations, digital communications, stakeholder engagement and strategic advertising. Reporting to the Director of the STOP partnership at Vital, the Campaign Manager will work closely with the Vital team on campaign planning, message development, announcement strategy, social media campaigns, digital marketing and event strategy. The Campaign Manager will liaise with communication staff from the four partner organizations to ensure alignment on strategies and content.

Bloomberg Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use is a six-year global health initiative that aims to reduce the global demand for tobacco through a comprehensive, proven approach that combines policy change with increased public awareness. The tobacco control work at Vital China Office is technically guided and funded by the Bloomberg Philanthropies through the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union). The tobacco control team in China has been working with a number of key partners including the National Health Commission of China, the China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Health Education, Provincial and Municipal Health Commissions, CDCs and Health Education Institutes and other tobacco control organizations.

Vital Strategies is looking for a qualified a candidate for the position of a Technical Advisor, Research. This position supports the China CDC Tobacco Control Office and the Tobacco Control Program Team at Vital Strategies China Office in enhancing existing research projects, identifying new research topics and establishing research programs to advance tobacco control policies in China, including interpretation of data for health policy, NCD and beyond. S/he will work closely with the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union); the leading partner on this program.
