Digital Strategist, New York

Vital Strategies is looking for a Digital Strategist to grow Vital Strategies’ audiences and the impact of its health campaigns, with a particular focus on our work to combat the opioid epidemic. The position will involve content creation along with campaign management and evaluation. The Digital Strategist will have a keen eye for creating, editing and repurposing content, and a knack for looking at leading trends and drawing upon our array of assets and experts to assert Vital Strategies’ point of view.

Vital Strategies is seeking to hire a full-time Grants Data Manager to assist the Public Health Programs divisional management and Grants Management teams with the development of financial reports and dashboards using NetSuite and Power BI. The designer will be dedicated to Vital Strategies’ work with STOP (Stopping Tobacco Organizations and Products), a global industry watchdog. The Designer will bring content to life using fresh, creative design. Reporting to the Creative Director and embedded within Vital Strategies’ design team, the Designer will support all of the organization’s programs with an emphasis on STOP. With STOP, he/she/they will conceive, execute and manage design of digital-first materials that will help STOP engage and expand its audiences.

The Grants Manager will be responsible for the contractual, financial and some of the reporting aspects of an assigned departmental portfolio. The Grants Manager will report to the Director, Budget and Grants Management and work closely with the Grants and Contracts Manager for the Policy, Advocacy and Communications (PAC) division. The Grants Manager will also collaborate with technical staff.

The campaign manager will be dedicated to Vital Strategies’ work with STOP (Stopping Tobacco Organizations and Products), a global industry watchdog. The Campaign Manager will drive integrated communication strategies aligned with campaign themes, with an emphasis on media relations, digital communications, stakeholder engagement and strategic advertising. The Campaign Manager will work closely with the Vital team on campaign planning, message development, announcement strategy, social media campaigns, digital marketing and event strategy.

Reporting to the Director of STOP, he/she/they will work analyze performance of these channels and work collaboratively with content creators, designers, and consultants to continuously improve audience engagement with STOP content.

Vital Strategies is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Manager – Partnership for Healthy Cities. The Senior Manager – Partnership for Healthy Cities will be part of an initiative that is aimed at empowering city governments around the world to improve noncommunicable disease (NCD) and injury prevention through high-impact policy interventions. This position supports the China CDC Tobacco Control Office and the Tobacco Control Program Team at Vital Strategies China Office in enhancing existing research projects, identifying new research topics and establishing research programs to advance tobacco control policies in China, including interpretation of data for health policy, NCD and beyond. S/he will work closely with the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union); the leading partner on this program.
