In this Colombia campaign aimed at curbing speeding, Fernanda tells the true, heartbreaking story of a mother whose 12-year-old son, Julian Esteban, was killed by a truck driver. Julian Esteban had been training to accomplish his dream of becoming a cycling champion. Fernanda has been a champion for reducing speeding on the roads in Colombia.
The PSA “It didn’t have to happen” ran alongside Elicenia’s Story, Eucari’s Story, Olivia’s Story, Olmedo’s Story and Tatiana’s Story. The song “It didn’t have to happen” was written and produced for this campaign.
