Actionable AI: Building Health Systems for Public Health Impact

At our India AI Impact Summit 2026 side event, “Actionable AI: Building Health Systems for Public Health Impact,” we explored what it takes to embed AI equitably, responsibly and at scale for population health.

During the event, we launched Version 2.0 of Foundations & Futures: Reimagining Public Health in the Artificial Intelligence Era. Our latest analysis shows that AI readiness is system readiness. The report reinforces a central finding echoed throughout the discussion: AI cannot compensate for weak systems. Getting the foundations right will determine whether AI strengthens durable public health intelligence or deepens fragmentation and inequities.
