The first campaign aired from December 2008 to May 2009 The campaign included three five-week flights on the 1st National TV channel. The campaign featured two ads, “Cigarettes Are Eating You Alive” and “Cigarettes Are Eating Your Baby Alive,” depicting the health consequences of smoking and secondhand smoke. The aim was to reinforce smokers’ and non-smokers’ knowledge about the harms of smoking and secondhand smoke.
