Forbes: Among the organizations that are aiding the effort to help countries tackle what safety experts call an epidemic, particularly in low- and middle-income countries where 93% of all traffic deaths occur, is Bloomberg Philanthropies. It announced at the conference that it would double its support for global road safety, committing an additional $240 million during a six year period from 2020 - 2025 to prevent traffic deaths.
