Cities Are Key In Stopping Cancer Before It Starts

We have come a long way in our efforts to scale back, and one day end, death from cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs). We now understand that one third of all cancer deaths are due to a handful of drivers — including tobacco use, environmental hazards such as poor air quality, and dietary risks — that we have the tools and expertise to address.
