These short instructional videos provide clear, practical information on overdose response and Hepatitis C.
They are intended for use across community, clinical, and public health settings. Two videos focus on naloxone and overdose reversal—one covers intranasal naloxone (nasal spray, sometimes known by its common band name Narcan) and the other covers injectable (intramuscular) naloxone. In addition to explaining what naloxone is and how to administer it, both videos provide step-by-step instruction on rescue breathing, a critical intervention in opioid overdose response.
The third video focuses on Hepatitis C. It provides information on how Hepatitis C is transmitted, key safety considerations for people who use drugs, and current treatment availability.
State agencies and organizations are encouraged to incorporate these videos into training, education, and outreach efforts and may add their own branding to the videos if used in this way. The videos are available for free download in both English and Spanish The goal is to make accurate, actionable public health information easy to understand and widely usable.
