2015 World Lung Foundation Ten Year Activity Report
World Lung Foundation was established in response to the global epidemic of lung disease, which kills 10 million people each year. It advanced global health by improving local health capacity, supporting operational research, developing public policy and delivering public education through mass and social media campaigns. The organization’s areas of emphasis was road safety, tobacco control, maternal and infant mortality prevention, obesity, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, asthma, and child lung health. Over the past 10 years, WLF's public health campaigns have reached over 2 billion people.
