Administrative Assistant - New York
The Administrative Assistant will be highly organized and have the ability to primarily support the Chief Operating Officer in a wide array of tasks and projects. S/he will be highly detail oriented, and able to keep multiple projects advancing simultaneously.
This is a full-time position based in our headquarters in New York City. The Director of Global Operations will oversee staff security, insurances, risk management, procurement and contracting and travel.
The Operations Officer will be responsible for purchasing and travel bookings across the organization. The Operations Officer will ensure that due diligence is conducted for all transactions and that all transactions comply with organizational policies.

A consultant is required to support active TB drug-safety monitoring and management (aDSM). The primary focus of the Consultant will be identification, management and recording of adverse drug events, and use of aDSM data by clinicians.
Responsibilities will include material development, review of scientific research, provision of support and technical assistance to Vital Strategies staff and implementing partners in project countries, and helping to manage project implementation by countries and sub-contractors.
The Senior Project Officer (SPO) will support provision of technical assistance to participating national ministries of health and other key stakeholders. In collaboration with Vital Strategies Senior Technical Advisors and with government stakeholders, the SPO will tailor the technical assistance package to the needs and priorities of each country.
